Mind-X® Complete Package Solution of Aeration

The Flubio MBBR (moving bed biofilm reactor) is a proven fixed-film or attached growth biological process for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment. The technology can be designed to address biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) removal, as well as nitrification and denitrification treatments. This MBBR biological system process provides the smallest footprint, which is tolerant of both load swings and temporary load deprivation.

High Specific Surface Area for Superior Treatment Capacity 

 • Specific Surface Area: 6,032 m²/m³ (vs.1,000 m²/m³ for traditional PE media).
    The exceptionally large surface area maximizes biofilm attachment, enabling high pollutant removal efficiency. This reduces the total media volume required for equivalent treatment performance.

Enhanced Hydrophilicity for Rapid Biofilm Formation 
  • Material: Modified polyurethane composition with superior hydrophilic properties.   
     Accelerates biofilm colonization, significantly shortening system commssioning. 

Optimal Fluidization Performance with Low Operational Costs 
  • Density: Slightly higher than water (1.0045 kg/m³), combined with elastic material properties, prevents floating or surface accumulation.
  • Fluidization: Achieves uniform fluidization without additional aeration pipes at retention screens, resolving traditional media accumulation issues (e.g., HDPE media at 0.95 kg/m³ floats easily and clogs screens).
  • Operational Efficiency: Reduces energy consumption and maintenance needs while maintaining stable treatment performance.

Retro-X Unbeatable Aeration System Technology

HINKTON Retro-X® is a proven, specially designed high-efficiency, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and self-cleaning aeration system tailored for MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) applications. It features the following characteristics:
· Upgrated Efficiency.The oxygen transfer efficiency is as high as 45% in sewage at a depth of 6 meters.
· PU membrane-unbeatable tear-resistant and abrasion-resistant (mechanical strength around 2.5-4 times that of most of the EPDM and silicone materials).
· Resistant to formic acid and oil grease, enable it to use in heavily polluted wastewater or in complex working conditions.
· ‘self - cleaning’ function. Regular 'self - cleaning' is carried out to ensure the efficiency of the aeration system remains stable.【Retro-X® Aeration System】
· Easy Routine Inspections or Aeration Diffuser Replacement. A team of two people can complete the replacement of a set of aeration system in 15 minutes. There is no need to drain water, nor use a crane or any lifting tools.
