HINKTON MBBR Technology

The Flubio MBBR (moving bed biofilm reactor) is a proven fixed-film or attached growth biological process for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment. The technology can be designed to address biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) removal, as well as nitrification and denitrification treatments. This MBBR biological system process provides the smallest footprint, which is tolerant of both load swings and temporary load deprivation.

HINKTON-CONTROL System

A hardware-software integrated platform that dynamically adjusts aeration based on real-time influent quality, DO, ORP, pH, and effluent data. Key features include:
• Feedforward control for load adaptation and process optimization.
• Precise DO maintenance at 0.5 ± 0.2 mg/L to balance energy use and treatment efficiency.
• Self-cleaning automation via pressure feedback for aeration equipment.
• Seamless integration with plant SCADA systems.

·Lower quantity demand which means lower capital cost.

Higher specific surface area 6,032 m²/m³( compared to 800~1000㎡/m³ for traditional PE filter media), enabling more biofilm attachment per unit volume to enhance treatment capacity while requiring less filler material.

·Solve traditional PE media of floating and surface accumulation issue.

Unique material density slightly higher than water (1.0045 kg/m³), combined with elastic properties, prevents floating and surface accumulation. (Traditional PE filter media are typically made of high-density polyethylene with a density of 0.95 kg/m³, lighter than water).
This ensures optimal fluidization without additional aeration pipes at the retaining screen. Normal fluidization can be achieved with the existing aeration layout.
